In my never ending quest to lose weight and eat healthier, I'm trying something new. I signed up on a website called Peer Trainer. Basically, all you do is log what you eat and what you do for exercise. The best part is that it's free. Right now it's going well. We'll see how it goes after I start classes next week. Here is a picture to inspire me:

Pictures
We had some family photos taken recently by Karen Feder Photography. I highly recommend her for obvious reasons. Check them out if you want:

Election 2008, UGH.
I'm generally trying to avoid the election coverage. It's just too much too soon, but this is a fun little quiz to see where you stand. If you are bored, check it out:

Obama was my best match, followed by Clinton and then McCain. That's not too far off, from what I thought, except for Clinton. I don't care how well my view match hers, I don't trust her.

Another weekend in ND
I think most of my posts lately have been from Grand Forks. Weird. Well, we were in GF again this weekend. We went to see my cousin Luke and his wife's, beautiful new baby, Mackenzie (unfortunately I was too distracted to take pictures) and to cross country ski. The first day did not go so great. Jon and I both fell quite a bit. I haven't been for a couple years and Jon hasn't been on cross country skis since 4th grade gym class. Compounding our issues was Finley. We wanted to bring him since Beth and Mike's landlord was having someone out to inspect the house. First, we started out with him tied to Jon, but that didn't work so well (see broken pole picture below). So then we tied him to Max, the golden retriever. Neither one of them seemed to mind and it worked out pretty well. Anyway, check out the pictures. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! Are the holidays really over again already? :(
