There was a little excitement on my Grandma's road in Missoula yesterday:

Christmas in MT

We had a great time in Montana visiting my family for the holidays. Even with the bad weather we managed to get there and back with only minor delays. We flew into Helena on the Sunday before Christmas. I was kind of disturbed to note that when we landed, the runway was covered in snow, but it didn't seem to be a problem. Monday we drove to Missoula with my sisters and brother-in-law Mike to visit my Grandma Johnson. On Christmas Eve Jon went skiing at Great Divide, near Helena with my sisters and Mike. I stayed home with my mom and helped shop and make Christmas Eve dinner. My dad prepared the Lutefisk when he got home. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of it! Beth and Mike left for Coeur d'Alene on Christmas Day and the rest of us headed up to Cut Bank to visit Grandma and Grandpa Nash. Suzie and I stayed in Cut Bank to keep Grandma company while everyone else headed to the Hills to check on the house and get some water, but we were unexpected dispatched to Four Corners with pick up keys when Grandpa and my mom locked them inside with the truck running. The drive was fine once we managed to get my Grandma's rearwhile drive Mercury sedan unstuck out of the driveway and up the snowpacked hill to the main road. When we got back to Helena we did a little cross country skiing and then it was time to head back to the cities.
