No way. That's the cool thing. No minimum balance. It's kind of backwards. You can only earn interest on the first $25,000. Which shouldn't be a problem for me!
What's the ATM situation with Beacon--do they have agreements with any networks or banks so that I could get $ out for free in this area?
You can use any Well Fargo on premise ATM for free, but if you use this new account, you can use any ATM in the US for free and at the end of the month, they reimburse your fees - automatically, without having to turn in your receipts or something like that, which is the small print when most places say FREE ATMS.
