The thing to do these days in Chaska is to go downtown and check out the river. We decided to have dinner at the new restaurant in the Best Western, Tommy's Malt Shop and check out the flooding for ourselves. The malt shop was great. Good burgers, excellent malts and good service. The prices were really reasonable too. I think this is at least the 4th restaurant in that space since I moved here 6 years ago. I think this one might actually last if they can make money with those low prices anyway.

The walking path along the levy now looks like a boat launch.
Audrey telling us something about the water. She has a lot to say these days, but the only things we understand are mum-mum (mom), dah (dad, duck or dog) and eye (hi or bye).
Stairs go straight down into the water.
Bridge over 41
You can see the top of the bench/sign along the walking path here in the distance.
Another view of the bridge.

BFFs
Well, Audrey thinks they are best friends, but I'm not sure Finley shares her sentiments. He likes the food she drops on the floor, but I don't think he appreciates all the poking and pulling she does to him.
Here are a few more pictures from when my parents were here and some pictures of Audrey with her new baby doll from Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike. She likes to hug her and rock her back and forth. We aren't sure where she learned that from.
